Less than a month after the renewal was announced, DC Universe has confirmed that Damaris Lewis' Blackfire will be a series regular when the third season starts. With all of that to deal with and process, you would think we would have a breather before any talk of a third season – but there's no rest for the Titans, people. Now that the season's wrapped and the smoke's cleared, viewers know now just how serious those "changes" were going to be: one dead, one possibly dead (though it's the comics world, so if your name's not "Uncle Ben", there's a good chance you won't stay dead for long), one heading off to greener pastures, and Nightwing rising from the ashes of Grayson's Robin persona. DC Universe's Titans dropped tons of teases and casting announcements… and more casting announcements… and even more casting announcements… for the second season for several months, leading up to this past September's season opener "Trigon." Since then, the series has seen twists and turns coming from every direction – with true "big bad" Slade Wilson ( Esai Morales) aka Deathstroke returning from the shadows of Dick Grayson's ( Brenton Thwaites) past to make some permanent line-up changes.
